An indie video game which is like a visual novel. Created by Kyle Seeley, the game is a sequel to Emily is Away, but offers a new story. It is a simulation of the life of a few characters in the last year of high school. Depending on choices made, the story can have multiple endings. The game requires just a computer to play. It is an example of typical PC gaming experience.
Emily is away too video game offers a completely new story and also characters. The main gameplay takes place in instant messaging chat. The player’s protagonist talks with other characters by selecting various answers. There are two main characters, apart from the protagonist: Emily and Evelyn. The player’s character either ends in a relationship with one of them or alone. Apart from instant messaging, the story can be extended with YouTube links, Facebook profiles, files transferred. That makes the action more exciting.
It is all in your hands – or better your keyboard. Depending on the answers you give, the action moves in one or other direction. Your choices matter! You determine how the senior year of high will end. Either your character will spend it with Emily, Evelyn or alone.
